Overview: Attachments
Attachments allow you to add external files and associate them with people, groups, registrations. You can upload Attachments internally or prompt your customers to upload Attachments.
Some different examples of attachments include:
- Liability waivers
- School transcript
- Insurance card
- Discharge instructions from the hospital
How to: View Attachment
1. On the Registration profile, click the Attachments Tab.
How to: Edit Attachment
1. The default view of the attachment tab is read-only. To take any action, click the three dots in the top right corner of each attachment.
2. Select Edit to open the Edit Attachment dialog. From here you can select to View or Remove the attachment. You also have the option to make any additional adjustments such as renaming it, changing the Category, Expiration Date, or simply adding a note.
How to: Delete Attachment
1. Click the three dots on the attachment you would like to delete and select Remove.
2. The Delete Confirmation window will appear to ensure this is the action you want to take. You will be required to type the word "yes" to confirm deleting the attachment.
How to: Download Attachment
1. Click the three dots on the attachment you would like to download and select Download to download attachment for local viewing or saving.
How to: Protect Attachment
1. Click the three dots on the attachment you would like to protect and select Protect. Protecting an attachment prevents it from being accidentally deleted. Protecting an attachment disables the delete button. You will notice a green status notification on the document.
How to: Unprotect Attachment
1. An attachment must be unprotected before it can be deleted. Click the three dots on the attachment you would like to unprotect and select Unprotect.

How to: Add Attachment
1. Click Add Attachment.
2. The Add Attachment window will appear. Here you will select a file to upload, name the attachment, define the attachment category and type, select a form, enter an expiration date, and add notes to the attachment.
